Summer Stock Experience
Lighting Designer
Stagedoor Manor Performing Arts Center — Loch Sheldrake, NY
June - August 2025
Designed and programmed six musicals in the 350‑seat Jack Romano Playhouse, shaping narrative‑driven looks and settings within a restricted, rep‑style inventory that required precision, adaptability, and strong architectural thinking.
Utilized ETC programming to maximize a small rig’s expressive range: building layered cue sequences, sculptural side‑light systems, and musical timing structures that supported choreography and storytelling despite limited fixture counts.
Collaborated closely with directors and choreographers to refine visual rhythm, pacing, and emotional contour, ensuring each production had a distinct visual identity within shared constraints.
Contributed to over 30 productions across six venues as an electrician and assistant designer, supporting hang/focus, troubleshooting system issues, and maintaining documentation to keep rapid‑turnover spaces consistent and reliable.

Collaborated closely with lighting designers to translate artistic intent into precise cueing, effects, and playback.
Supported system maintenance and troubleshooting across a repertory-style summer season.
